WRP does traveling and full-stage non-musical theatre and has provided an evening's entertainment and benefit for some very worthy community organizations such as the Keystone Theater, The Endless Mountains Regional Council on the Arts, the Barclay School, the First United Methodist Church of Towanda, the HCJB Mission Group, the Waverly American Legion, the Waverly Red Cross, and also, The Towanda Memorial Hospital.
Winding River Players encourages and promotes Theatre for our young people by including many of them in our productions and by offering a yearly Meritorious Theatre Award for a graduating Senior from Bradford County who has shown outstanding participation during their high school years in either the performing or technical aspects of theatre. Additionally, this Web site offers schools in our area space for links, announcements or web pages devoted to their Performing Arts events.
