Above - Photo from 1997 Drama Club production of To Burn A Witch. This powerful and poignant one-act, shows the effects of intolerance, superstition and bigotry. Two girls are accused of witchcraft and condemned to the stake. One, through terror of burning, admits to the charges and is promised to be saved if she can get her friend to admit also to the charge. The friend refuses to admit to falsehoods just to save herself. It's a moral and ethical dilema that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The Drama Club did more than justice to a wonderful play.
