The 1996-97 Senior Play was a comedy entitled, “Hit and MisDeMeanor” by William Gleason. The play was presented on March 20, 21, and 22 in the Towanda High School auditorium.

The play centered around the television studio of a hit police drama in which the audience was also the TV audience. The situation goes from bad to worse ast the stars battle one another, the Director, the other TV cast members while everyone tries to enlist the sympathy of the audience. To top it all, someone is sending death threats to the Stars and they end up trying, with hilarious results, to solve the "real-life" mystery.
