Senior Play - 1998

The Towanda High School Senior Class presented, “Dirty Work in High Places” by Tim Kelly, an old-fashioned melodrama with an updated look. The play ran November 13th, 14th, and 15th, 1997, at 8:00 P.M. in the high school auditorium. Tickets were available from cast members or at the door prior to performance. Prices: $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for students and senior citizens. Tickets purchased prior to November 13th received a discount of $1.00.

The play chronicles the dirty tricks of the villian, Gentle Grimmes, and his Dirty Tricks department. No melodrama would be complete without the innocent heroine, Sweet Saccharin, and the incomparable hero, Dauntless Crusader. The twists and turns make for many laughs along the way, including a crooked campaign and plans to foul the environment.
